What is a Green Tag Center?
Dresser developed the GTC program in 1980 to provide better customer support and boost PRV safety through regular preventative maintenance.
What it takes to become a member of GE’s Green Tag Center network
Earning the GTC designation isn’t easy. It requires ongoing training and verification to ensure technicians use the latest valve repair practices and technologies.
TECHNICIAN TRAINING AND TESTING
Our technicians have completed the required training and certification on Consolidated pressure relief valve repair. Our techs are also frequently tested on valve assembly, valve testing, maintenance practices, and other topics essential to keeping PRVs working at peak performance.
YEARLY AUDITS
Our facilities are audited once a year to ensure that they continue to provide PRV services and repair aligned with GTC standards.
COMPLIANCE WITH CODE REQUIREMENTS
The GTC label indicates that we — and the valves we service — are in full compliance with National Board and ASME standards.
Benefits of working with certified GTCs
When you work with a GTC, you know that you’re getting the best PRV services possible, including a large inventory and OEM-certified repairs.
ACCESS TO THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ABOUT CONSOLIDATED VALVES
GTCs have exclusive access to the latest technical information and guidelines about tPRVs.
This means that when new technologies and new practices arise, our technicians are the first to know
VALVES REPAIRED AND RECERTIFIED TO LIKE-NEW CONDITION
GTC-certified technicians are trained to repair Consolidated valves to like-new condition, helping you stay in compliance with local jurisdictional requirements.
ADVANCED VALVE TESTING CAPABILITIES WITH EVT
Electronic valve testing (EVT) allows us to test your valves on line, so you can meet your recertification requirements without downtime. We provide EVT for steam, air, and some liquid valves.
VALVE MANAGEMENT AND TRACKING WITH VALVKEEP
ValvKeep is a powerful valve management software that allows you to track performance and manage maintenance schedules for every valve in your plant and along your pipeline. This helps you plan your preventative maintenance programs and identify any bad actors that might be putting your safety in jeopardy.
If you have Consolidated PRVs in your facility or along your pipeline, working with a GTC for maintenance and repair is the best way to ensure the safety of your plant, your equipment, and your people. Contact us to learn more about the services we provide through our authorized Green Tag Centers.
